What:  All classes from the 1960s and the 1970s--20 years of Owl pride--are invited to a Big Creek High School Class Reunion on August 21-22, 2010.

Where:  Pipestem State Park in Pipestem, WV.  Even if your class has a reunion planned, even if you have attended a reunion recently, you are invited to come to this one as well.  All are welcomed!

When:  Please save the date - Friday, August 20-Sunday August 22, 2010.  The main events will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2010.

How:  Pipestem has blocked 56 rooms for our function.  Rooms are approximately $87+tax with gorge-view rooms going for $98+tax.  Each Owl is responsible for making room reservations by calling the Lodge at 304-466-1800.  When reserving rooms, keep in mind that you may reserve the room but cancel your reservations if necessary as long as you do so within 48 hours of the event.  Important information regarding costs per person for food and entertainment will be emailed very soon.

Current plans include a buffet dinner, dance, and a picnic; plans are still fluid.  If anyone would like to be a part of this committee, please contact one of us.

New Info As of March 24th:

PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH ANYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK!!!

As many of you may have guessed, rooms at Pipestem Resort State Park are SOLD OUT!  As of today, there were two executive suites left at McKeever Lodge ($182/night +tax).  One is smoking, the other non-smoking.  One has a King and sleeper sofa; the other has a King and 2 sleeper sofas.

There are currently 27 available rooms at Mountain Creek Lodge (the one at the foot of the gorge serviced by the tram).  Each Mountain Creek room has either a double bed + twin or a double bed + sleeper.  These rent for $87/night +tax.  

In the Forward below, add Holiday Inn Express and Microtel.  SleepInn is pet friendly.  All are located at Exit 9, Princeton (Junction for Rt 77 and Rt 460).

If you need a room, call ASAP!

Last thing--Pipestem says that there is another large event on our week-end; there is a (slim) chance that some of those rooms will be released if all are not rented.  That would occur about 30 days prior to our event.  If you want to check one more time before booking, call Pipestem Resort State Park and inquire about recently released rooms at McKeever Lodge.
