Hellow Fellow Owls,

After you've registered your self, you will receive an email to confirm a valid email address. In that email is a web address for your to click to verify your email address.  We use this to keep out spammers with fake email addresses.

If you don't already have an email address, go to http://www.gmail.com/ and click on get your own address.  Then register for free account.  Google Mail is by far the best free email system availalbe.

Please follow the directions below:

Steps for adding and updating your personal information: 

1. Registration and Confirmation: After you have registered on the Big Creek Alumni Web Site, you will receive an email where there is a web link that you have to click on (or copy and paste to your web browser) in order to confirm your email address.  If you don't do this, your registration is not complete.  If you need help, please let me know by way of the contact us form on the web site.  Some fields are required for security purposes.  Sorry for any incoveniences but this protects the Alumni's personal information.
2. On-Line Profile: In order for folks to know more about you and if you did not fill out all the information on your profile, you can still update this information.  This is done after you login to the web site and click on "Your Profile" under the "User Menu."
   At the tope of your profile are Tabs.  Move your mouse over the "Edit" Tab and click on Update Your Profiel.  This will allow you to modify and add information about yourself.  When you are finished, please be sure to save your informaiton.  Then view it to see that it is as you wish.  A good example of a Profile is here: Bill Watkins (Class of 1977) .
    
3. Personal Biography: This is now part of Your Profile.
    
4. Personal Image Gallery: As part of your profile, you may upload an image of yourself (or select an Avatar).  You may also upload up to 10 pictures to share with other Alumni members.  If you want to upload more then 10 pictures, you should use the Picture Gallery, found on the main menu.  There you have the option to upload your very own pictures.
    
5. Archive Pages: In the Archive pages you will often find out-of-date information.  Please don't attempt to change that or ask me to.  It is from the old web site and it would be way too much work for me to change.  Most people know to look elsewhere for your inormation so be sure and add your Bio in your Class Members Section.  Some of the archive info is on a text document.  As time permits, I and perhaps others, will be adding this older information on each individual as an entry.  This way searches will work much better.
